Introducing our Wood Fired Oven Water Barrier System, designed to help prevent water ingress to ensure long-lasting durability. The kit consists of high temperature silicon and aluminium flashing, this innovative kit is a simple but very effective method to help keep your Wood Fired Pizza Oven dry and as efficient as when it was first cured.
Our Wood Fired Oven Water Barrier System is easy to install during the oven building process and requires no maintenance. The high temperature silicon creates a seal that is resistant to cracking and shrinking, ensuring that it will work as well as the day it was installed for years to come.
The aim of the Water Barrier System is to prevent water from getting into the oven through hairline cracks that tend to form between the dome render and the top of your oven stand. While these cracks aren't a structural problem they can allow a lot of water into the oven via capillary action. This system will prevent that water from getting into the oven insulation. Please note that this will not prevent all water from getting into the oven, just from water getting under the dome render.
