An authentic Wood Fired Oven makes the perfect centrepiece for any entertaining area. There’s nothing like the crackle of real timber burning, the smell of wood smoke and the cheery, twinkling light of a fire to bring people together. Then there’s the food; from hand stretched pizzas cooked in 90 seconds to shoulders of meat left to slow-roast for 8 hours, and everything in between.
The PreCast Oven Kit is designed for DIY; we’ve done all of the hard work for you – you get the fun of putting it together.
It’s little wonder Wood Fired Ovens are so popular. Now, we’ve made them simple.
If you’re looking for a Wood Fired Oven that’s easy to assemble, fits into a small space and heats up quickly, then our PreCast Oven Kit is what you’ve been searching for. Our PreCast Oven Kits have the same front arch as our PreCut Brick Ovens, which you’ll create using our PreCut fire bricks and PreCast Flue Gallery, for an authentic, timeless look.
The internal dome is made up of stainless steel fibre-reinforced refractory sections, cast in hand polished CNC machined molds by our dedicated team. At every point we have looked for ways to minimise your effort taken to build this kit, without impacting on quality. We’re very proud of the result.
Our P85 Wood Fired Oven kits are packed into heavy duty timber crates, perfect for the rigours of a trip across America.
We can deliver your P85 Kit to a nearby Estes Express depot, where the Estes team will load your kit into your trailer or pickup. Then when you get home, you just pop the crate open while it’s still in the trailer and unload each component by hand.
We can also offer Curbside Delivery of the P85 Kit throughout most of the USA – please Contact Us for a quote!
Lastly, if you know a local business with a forklift that can take delivery of the crate for you we will be more than happy to quote delivery to that location.

The first step in building our PreCast Oven is to create a stand to build the oven on. You can make a full brick stand with a suspended concrete slab (see our Stand Building video series below) or because the PreCast Oven is a reasonable weight, you could also purchase our optional Steel Stand for the P85 Oven to be built on.
We have uploaded detailed drawings below showing you how the steel frame is manufactured so you could make one yourself if you enjoy welding! We also have some guides on building a brick stand below using 6″ wide Adbri ‘Versaloc’ Concrete Blocks.
We have been manufacturing our Wood Fired Oven Kits in Australia since 2011 and over time we have built up a list of professional tradesmen that we trust enough to recommend to our customers around Australia.
At this point in time we have not yet begun the process of finding and evaluating professionals that we can recommend to you.
That being said, any good tradesman will be able to assemble our PreCast Oven Kits to the same level of quality that we do. After all, the kits are designed to be built by DIYers with no prior experience in bricklaying!
If you would love one of our Ovens, but really don’t want to build it yourself, then we recommend you speak to family and friends to find a local landscaper/bricklayer/stonemason that they trust to take their time and do a good quality job. The key is that they must read all of the instructions, and watch all of the videos.
If you’ve had your oven built for you by a local professional and think they would be a good fit for our list of Professional Installers then we would love to hear from you. We’re sorry that we don’t have a list of recommended Oven Builders in America just yet, but please know that we’re working on it!
We’ve created a set of detailed instructions to guide you through the process of building your P85 PreCast Oven Kit. We want you to have a great time building it, so we’ve put a lot of effort into them to make the project as enjoyable as possible.
There are two sets of instructions; a detailed written guide and a video series to accompany it. You will need both – the written instructions give you details that can’t be covered in the videos, and the videos teach you things that can’t be covered in writing.
If you want to draw up your alfresco in CAD, we have created 3D models of our P85 Precast Oven Kit and some suggested stand designs to accompany them. We have exported a version of each model in Rhino, Sketchup and STEP. The 3D models bundled into ZIP files; each ZIP file contains three versions of the drawing in the file types listed above.
There are also some very handy PDF files linked below that we hope you will find useful.
